In 1727, Benjamin Franklin convinced 12 of his friends to form a club dedicated to mutual improvement. They named the club "JUNTO" and gathered each Friday evening to discuss the topics of the day.  The rules were simple and required each member to share one or more ideas on any issue to be discussed by the company.  Each third month, each member was required to produce an original essay to be debated while challenging conventional wisdom.

The results of the original Junto are as evident today as they were in 1727. They shaped American society by creating the first public library and hospital, volunteer fire departments, police departments, paved streets and the University of Pennsylvania .They recommended books, shopkeepers, and friends to each other. They fostered self-improvement through discussions on topics related to everything from philosophy and economics to politics and social morals.

iEvolution continues to be inspired by this concept of shared space.  This is an opportunity for forward thinking individuals to share their passion for risk, dreams and imagination. It is our aim to be the place where the emerging business community meets the emerging conversation about the future of business.  As Richard Flordia, in his book 'The Rise of the Creative Class', puts it, "the world is spiky---People cluster not simply because they like to be around one another…They also cluster because of the powerful productivity advantages, economies of scale, and knowledge spillovers such density brings.  Ideas flow more freely, are honed more sharply, and can be put into practice more quickly when large numbers of innovators, implementers, and financial backers are in constant contact with one another, both in and out of the office." When our new community converges, everything is possible.

A collaborative peer-to-peer network will start conversations, stimulate debates, and advance cutting-edge business ideas that will invent the future and reinvent business.

The open innovation model will stimulate creativity and challenge conventional wisdom.  Looking outside one's own boundaries will often provide better access to ideas, knowledge and technology.

Strategic business partnerships will emerge to accelerate progress and map out an integrated value chain.
